Miniature Book, Cinderella by Borrower's Press-Jane Bernier #187-30

Status: Available Price: $110.00
Description:
Wonderful tiny, 1" scale book, that is a real book inside with the story of Cinderella in miniscule printed words and 6 miniature hand colored illustrations. Printed by The Borrower's Press by miniature artist Jane Bernier from Maine in 1977. The cover is a dark blue leather with a faintly impressed design on the front cover. Pictured are several pages from this tiny book including the title page which shows that the illustrations were by Amanda Goldman and the last page which is signed J. Bernier and says that this book is 190 from 300 that were made. Size is 3/4" x 7/8". The incredible detailing of this book has to be seen in person to be appreciated. Ms. Bernier ceased making miniature books in the 1980's.
