Description:
Fantastic early doll's furniture made from wood in two tones - a dark shade and a blond shade wood which looks to be pear wood. Elegantly constructed, these pieces are just the right size for French fashion dolls. There are two matching pieces, each is sold separately and shown individually and also together. Each is decorated with carved fleur-de-lis in the corners. Hand made c. 1880. Pictured is a wonderful cabinet with two upper glass doors and two step out lower glass doors that open. Each door has fleur-de-lis carved at the corners with a very nice combination of light and dark tones. Shelves inside can hold doll's treasures. One fleur-de-lis is missing from the upper left door. Height is 9 3/4" by 8" wide (tip to tip on middle outside dark tone shelf) and 3 1/4" wide.
