Tin Drum Toy for Doll Candy, Container or Christmas Ornament #1--171-01

Status: Available Price: $295.00
Description:
Early American tin toys are hightly desirable, especially those which are marked and can be identified by manufacturer. This is one of the best Americana items I have ever had. The tin drum is very colorful all around, red and white large stripes around the center band with blue outer-edged banding with stars--taken from the American flag. The top drum portion has drumsticks lithoed on. It has it's original bright red ribbon for hanging. The reverse drum portion is marked: Franz Euler & Col, N.Y. c. 1890, very nice condition. 2 14" high and 2 1/2" diameter. This is the larger drum and matches the smaller drum being sold separately. It looks as if this tin drum opens up as a candy container but I have not tried to force it open for fear of damaging it.
