This grouping is made from bakelite and celluloid and the books are covered with red, green, and black faux leather. Books are not removable. Darling 1" scale accessory for the dollhouse made in the 1930's or early 1940's. 1/2" high, 1 5/8" long. The elephant theme is quite unusual. Pictured with 1" scale Lynnfield, which are sold separately, for size comparison.
