Doll's White Sweater with Ivory Rose Decoration

Status: Available Price: $125.00
Description:
Exquisitely hand-knit from white thin cotton yarn, this fantastic sweater fits a child doll approximately 7 1/2" high to about 9" high. Attached at the breast is a hand-carved ivory rose decoration, sewn on. The details are so lovely, with early cording at the top to tie and extra knit scallops at neck, open front and bottom. Nine tiny pearl buttons also decorate the front; these are not functional, they are only for decoration. The detailing can also be easily seen in the close-up of the ivory rose. This sweater was made by an expert knitter. Overall height of sweater is 3 1/4". From shoulder to shoulder, it is 2 3/4" wide, sleeves are 2" long. This sweater is for that very special little doll, either a lovely character or French girl doll. Our lovely model is a Simon & Halbig all bisque, 7 1/2", with closed mouth, boutines and yellow stockings (doll is not for sale). Great, clean condition.
