Fancy Ceiling Plate for Chandelier from Maynard Manor-large

Status: Available Price: $98.00
Description:
The lovely large fancy ceiling plate pictured here came out of Maynard Manor. It has a beautiful impressed classical design. This ceiling plate was custom made by Ellen Blauer, wife of John Blauer, who created Maynard Manor for use in one of the many rooms. The ceiling plate is all brass and electroplated in 24K gold. Ellen Blauer was a well-known miniaturist who was reknowned for her metal work. She hand made all the chandeliers for Maynard Manor. This particular ceiling plate is one of the most elaborate ones from the manor. There is a hole in the center for the chain of a chandelier. Maynard Manor was sold around 10 years ago and I have had this item in my collection since that time. Very nice condition with great patina. Diameter is 3".
