It came out of Maynard Manor around 10 of years ago when the contents were sold and it has been in my collection since that time. Maynard Manor was a well-know "mansion" created by John Blauer. This all-brass ceiling plate was made exclusively for Maynard Manor by John's wife Ellen Blauer, a well known miniaturist before her passing. The diameter of this small but elegant ceiling plate is 1 7/8"--the chain for the chandelier would go through the hole in the center of the plate.
