Beautiful classical, symmetrical pattern with a background of beige. 12" x 9". c. 1970. Beautiful condition. This miniature rug was hand stitched by a Maine miniature collector for her own collections and came from her estate. The colors in this rug are so soft and gentle. I believe the art of fine needlework is starting to be lost and these finely made hand stitched rugs in really good condition are becoming harder and harder to find.
