Description:
This wonderful toy cyclist was manufactured by American Flyer Company of Chicago c. 1915. His bicycle wheels are meant to ride on a string or wire while the counterbalance keeps him riding upright. But he is very attractive and colorful to display on his own. He is chromolithographed tin and aside from a few knicks and scrapes is in very nice condition. Height is 7" from top of head to bottom of bicycle and 14" high including the counterbalance. Width is 8" from wheel to wheel. Both sides are shown. This is a great, early American toy.
