It has a wash of asphaltum and additional gold gilt on the base and legs, making a very striking table. c. 1870's. Height is 1 3/4". Exhibits aging and some paint nicks in areas expected in a piece so old. Very lovely and very rare, this little side table would make a lovely addition to a very early dollhouse.
